1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HopperIT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, please do not access or use our platform.

2. Description of Service

HopperIT is an educational management platform designed to help institutions, teachers, and students manage class schedules, assignments, announcements, and grades. The service optionally integrates with third-party tools such as Google Classroom and WhatsApp.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated.
  • Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious content, or to take any action that could disrupt or impair the service for other users.

4. Google Workspace API Integration (Classroom)

HopperIT's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

By connecting your Google Account, you grant HopperIT limited permission to access and synchronize data strictly necessary for the platform's core synchronization features. Specifically, we request read-only access to 4 Google scopes: Google Classroom Courses, Google Classroom Coursework Me (Assignments), Google Classroom Coursework Students, and Google Classroom Announcements.

5. Intellectual Property

The HopperIT platform, including its source code, design, logos, and content created by Tim HopperIT, are the exclusive property of Tim HopperIT. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

HopperIT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Tim HopperIT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
